A Southern California native, Ellyn has had a long association with the BIg Bear Valley. As a youngster, she spent many happy days at her Aunt's cabin on Eagle Point and enjoyed cruising on the lake in her family's mahogany runabout "Miss Ellyn". In 1984 she and her husband, Jack, built a lakefront second home in Eagles Knoll Estates which they enjoyed with their growing two children. Once the nest was empty, they sold the home and used their pilots licenses and plane for travel. Upon selling their Carlsbad based company, they realized how much they missed Big Bear Lake and decided to build a new lakefront home in Eagles Knoll, and to permanently reside in Big Bear Valley.
